In English saying "wuv" does tend to lean more towards infantile than just being cute, but that's just another failing of the English language and not something you can do much about. Anyone that would complain about you doing it this way just has their head up their own ass.

Being on mangadex for some time, I discovered that they translate しゅき as "wuv" on a regular basis. It's more like settled for now, like official translation or something.

BTW I think you ruined your finishing pic. Your distinctive feature always was that this face sticked on anything looked unnatural and out of place, and it was the point. But now you overexerted yourself and this face looks absolutely natural. I checked that album cover and hell, your edit looks more natural than the original. I can't find any inconsistencies or discrepancies. And that is highly disturbing. You, like, broke your own running joke or something. I have very complicated feelings about this, I'm gonna go eat some Pringles with Fanta and reread this chapter to relax and reset my mind again.
