I thought the blue eyes comment along with the fact that he knew colors' names was a plot hole. I actually thought of dropping this manga because it didn't seem like the author was putting much thought into continuity and that's a pet peeve of mine. I'm glad I stuck with it. If this was licensed in English, this would have been the chapter that convinced me to buy it.
One thing that hasn't been explained though is if humans lost their memories of colors decades ago that still doesn't explain how he knew what blue was since that was before he was born. even if he read it in a book how would he know what color it corresponds to if he had never seen colors? Also did he just have "feeling" her eyes were blue or did he actually see them as blue? Maybe it will get explained later.
