Fuck Junji Ito. The guy is literally unable to make endings and explanations. ALL the mangas from this person have no end or explanations. It's fun to read but kills you at the """end""". The only reason I'm hooked is to understand wtf is going on. Fuck off!

Honestly this got kind of funny toward the end. The chapters where it was more focused on mesmerism and subtler psychosis were pretty strong and definitely unnerving, but by the time it got to the whirlwind airbenders it was a little too absurd. Ending was fine if a little grandiose.

Manga-Sketchbook made a full translation 17 years ago, and I'm pretty sure it was uploaded here.
I guess it was removed stealthily by the admins under Viz orders....
