@caruana the entire manga series is in color, i think it's either korea or china that colored it. but it wasn't japan for sure that colored it.

@QSS the colors really aren't bad, the problem is that this was a colored manga that was scanned (not digital because it was colored in china I think) but not leveled. Here is how the manga would look like doing a simple adjustment of the blacks https://cdn.knightlab.com/libs/juxt...html?uid=cf614124-30ce-11eb-83c8-ebb5d6f907df (leveled on the left, original on the right and movable slider in the middle.

it's still pretty bad, using a multiply blend mode to draw colors on top of screentones is awfully amateur.
