Am I totally confused, or is the girl the VA for the character, which is why she knows so much about it? And that's her speaking en persona at the end? Does she live or die, after all? Is she turned?

Fort the record, Tepes name is not a reference to the Dance on the Vampire Bund, it's a reference to Vlad III, also known as Vlad Țepeș or Vlad Drăculea, the voivode of Wallachia and the origin of Dracula character.

The girl was the VA for tomomo. It's shown in credit sequence of the anime that Yuuki was the VA for tomomo and later the host for the show calls the VA by name as Yuuki. There's also the bite mark shown on the VA, I guess to hint it's the same person. It's a bit confusing, but the show host alludes to a different character, Camila, a heroine in her series which I think is a hint for us that the VA continues her work inspired by Tepes and eventually is able to get a lead character role.

As for getting turned, we don't have any information. Yuuki seems to be alive, at least.
