Oof. No wonder Veggie knowing his name struck him so.... I feel like teaching at a high school must be harsher then grade school. Kids are wrapped up in their own problems at that age. But it's also hard at any age, really.

I' so glad that the principals I've worked under all care about the children. So they make sure that the teachers they hire are in the right category. I'm surrounded by loving and caring humans at work.

And I find grade school harder than high school. There is a lot more responsibility when working with younger children, while I don't have to care about much more than doing my best to motivate older students.
