to me, it’s more like “we technically are a couple, but there was never any form of confession from either, it just went from friends to lovers smoothly”. But hey, that’s the charme of the story, everyone can imagine whatever they want it to be

yup, that’s my assumption as well. No friends just sleep in the same bed together but at the same time, we haven’t had any genuine sexual intimacy between them yet. so as you said, it’s that grey area between friendship and love

The previous chapter by the title "Osmosis" literally describes their relationship and the story in general. Through the volumes we've been witnessing the very process of osmosis between main characters, the process of their gradual and unconscious assimilation in lifestyle and philosophy. Little by little they kind of mixed on a physical level through this veil/membrane and became single entity, at least I see it this way.

Just found this and binge-read in a day. I could talk about the art for hours! How the coloring reminds me of older western comic book art, like Jack Kirby, or Frank Miller. Just instead of superhero fights and violence, we get a master class of flirting! I got into drawing as a kid by copying comic books, so this might be the perfect manga art for my tastes.

This is a story where the art communicates more than the words alone could, in a style that adds so much to their slice of life.

To think, I only found out about this manga from a piece of My Hero Academia fanart inspired by it, only to forget about it and then chance upon volume 1 in the local library and fall in live with it all over again, leading to me binging all these chapters. Marvelous scanlation work, the colors are juat as vibrant as intended!
