i know its the world of mages
but when their enemy using WEAPON and most people are not combat mage
why is there nobody even use a weapon???

it's all spell spell spell, when mages died, there's less mage (and mage took longer to be at least experienced, unlike weapons)
once mages are all killed, then what are they gonna use to defend themself? it's a world where death is normal everyday stuff
weapons, especially guns are still usefull, even in magical world with barrier or shield. throw enough lead and they're all dead

especially when their magic are always use AOE types (even single target one, they look way too inefficient), in never think those kind of magic is efficient
they are MAGES, why is their magic are all standardized?? no crazy mad mages creating NEW kind of magic?
