Hmm... the problem of making the enemies fight each other is there's a big chance that they will work together. Especially if they have intelligence.

They needed plan soooooooooo far ahead their enemies if they want to defeat them properly.

How are you going to make the natural enemy of different worlds fight things like stars going cold and disease, the only thing that has been shown to have high adaptability are robots and they aren't organic life forms lol. Some aren't even sentient and are just phenomenons.
