Apologies if this has already been asked, it's difficult to find anything in your forum.
Are you ever going to implement the ability to mark dates to when we start and finishing reading a manga?
If not, can you improve the reading history?

Or if neither, have the ability to include a note (section) to any manga,
so I can write the dates I read/finished them.

As much as I love MAL, or utilise a google sheet, mangaupdates or now anilist to include my full list,
since I practically read all on MangaDex, this website would be the best location to include whatever information I want, until MAL has the manga on their database.

The private notes thing I am pretty sure has been rejected many times at this point.

For tracking dates of when you started/finished reading something is probably possible in some form, but I wouldn't count on it happening any time soon.

Sometimes I get curious when I actually started a series or how long has it been since I last read a chapter of. Nothing too important but good to know when I came across a series and think about how time I put into it.

Read markers have no dates attached, the "history" is stored locally in your browser and is entirely unrelated.
