Ooh. So, it's like the UK. I live in quite a safe country, where the cops need to go through a long, burdensome inspection every time they fire a shot (apart from the shooting range), even if they didn't hit anything, yet they still always carry a piece. So, it's kind of my default assumption, despite knowing full well the UK situation.
