The ironic thing is that although Ji Yong is completely wrong about who sent the message, he's gonna fuck Mr Bang up through it nonetheless. And he's outsmarted Awls while at it. And given that Shin Yeong is head over heels for him, she even got a date in exchange for being an unwitting decoy. Truly win-win for everyone.
A minor carp I have about this chapter is that Ji Yong and Gang Ok are becoming kinda omniscient. Like, how did Ji Yong "check" who'd committed the random murder on Mr Bang's orders? I guess we can assume Gang Ok has infiltrated their non-encrypted communications, since Ji Yong keeps telling him to get information and he always succeeds. But it would've been nice to see it explained better. It's like Ji Yong has access to intel not even the police have.
Glad to see that Mi Ryeo has some plot armour. That shadow in the lobby of her building looks ominous, but given how competent Jo Heon is, I'm guessing he's made arrangements for someone to protect her in case she presses the smartwatch button and he's unavailable to respond. I hope it's a new character and not Yeong-il's crew. And I wonder if she'll figure out Min Woo is leaking her schedule afterwards.
Gang war arc incoming. Looking forward to it. And yet another memetic face by Ji Yong at the end of the chapter! \o/
