Poor Mr Park, working for a hypercompetent boss who doesn't give a shit about work-life balance, keeps dragging him into his shit and is eager to see the world burn.

As for Jiyong, I'm really enjoying how the more amazing his underworld exploits get, the more scolded in his workplace he gets.

And the funniest thing is that him being scolded is entirely on purpose since it makes him look too incompetent and green to be any kind of suspicious. Appear weak when you are strong.

Also im surprised you guys actually bothered to translate the "The police are on your side, report crimes!" Poster.
Really leaving no stone unturned :kek:

Some of the new names in this chapter are just that, new characters who'll presumably be important down the line. But the last name that got the more significant name drop refers to the first season.

Remember, throughout that part of the story, Gang-ok was feuding with his father, who wanted to oust him from the vice-chairmanship of their company in favour of his legitimate son. In the Jo Gang-ok Epilogue, he briefly discusses with Department Head Park whether they could use criminal evidence to bring his father down.

The second season is picking up from where they left and now they've stumbled upon a connection between the real estate scammers and Gang-ok's father. So the father-and-son conflict that was simmering backstage in the first season is gonna blaze centre-stage this time.
