First page, she is a girl with straight long black hair that calls herself a military "otaku" on the very first page in the first chapter. We've seen plenty military otaku in other manga and anime, and do you know what nationality they are? Japanese. Just the fact that she called herself an otaku proves it. You call yourself that you are either a japanese person with a super strong but weird passion for something, or a weeb that has transcended weebness.

@Acciunt It was supposed to be a Gun = American joke, as her nationality isn’t even mentioned (I think) other than that she’s an otaku (which refers to a type of person not a race of people) in the manga, but ok.
