I stopped reading the novel a little after the competition. Honestly the version I read was so sloppy I got confused so I dont remember what happened and why. The comic does so much better at conveying the most important details.

Ah yes. "I won't punish you, I'll punish someone you care about." Clever man.

And here I thought his betrayal meant his death, not hers (though maybe both).

She's obviously not going to get out of the competition, so here's to hoping some good shit will come out of it hahah

Thanks asura!

That last pic of the dad? Kinda hot... (‘-’*)

And Eclise is my boy. Baby boy. Baby. He is baby. 40% affection already? The OG choice. If Penelope hurts in I’m gonna be really Sad™

Asura, my loves! Keep up the excellent work!

Oh daddy figured out that self isolation doesn’t work on her and went straight for something she cared about. Smart man!

Thanks for your guys work. I’ve been loyal to your posting. I can’t believe this chapter got pirated by a group that hasn’t done any chapters prior.

I do get the feeling the father is trying to make her act like a noble here. He probably knows exactly why she did that and he most likely approves but she won't just say the reason.
It's like seeing someone having a puzzle solved out but just sit there and not complete it.
She finally acted like a noble should when their honor is being tarnished but she is acting like a servant in front of him instead of defending her honor like she had just done before.
I can understand that frustration either that or I'm wildly misinterpreting the Dad's reasoning.
