I love how Sig and his friends incorporate into the story! Also, the self aware side characters are hysterical.

@likklnisa It IS the worst arc so far tho.
Literally a side-quest in the main story where the only one who gets development is Sigurd, a side character. No one else ends this arc learning something new, not Thorfinn, not even Hilda whose only role is parrot the same line over and over again.
It introduces one of the most annoying characters in the manga, Garm, who (once again) doesn't learn anything in the entire arc. It completely degrades Thorkell from an interesting character to just the mascot of the series, running around fighting and doing funny things. Remember how he was searching for the way to become a real warrior like Thors? Seems like he completely forgot despite Thorfinn being right there.
The only interesting thing this arc had going on was the conflict between Floki and Thorfinn carried on from the first arc and although it ended like you would expect considering the themes of the manga Floki finished the arc the same as he was before (in terms of character). There wasn't a single bit of comeuppance for him despite the fact that the entire series began thanks to his machinations.
In short, you can completely skip this arc and (besides Sigurd) you wouldn't even notice the difference.
