Title was in English, so I didn't bother to rewrite it out.
TLer really likes this artist too, he's pretty made up if it was Douman's intent to reference the song. (I hope so, I always like when Shima Kosaku does it...!)

Author got me good with the bait and switch. I fully expected her to have been bullied to suicide but turns out she just fucked up her experiment. Kind of a relief but the fact that Qchan isn't actually her is sad. I had sort of hoped they'd be able to revive her from the ghost somehow

Is that actually Kikurin, and not an ancestor? Wasn't there some implication that she was older than she looked, or am I making that up?

Probably an ancestor, but Douman loves to leave these things ambiguous then cut it a third way. (I.E When Kikkuri said "upper floor" ((and it was used before that, I updated the script in the volume version to match it.)) it was very vague in meaning "management" or a physical place above somewhere. Keeping it ambiguous if she was actually from outside the Vivarium or not and it turns out her family are just the contact between the two.)
In Chapter 41, it's mentioned that the earthquake was a long time ago, and not in YokiMum's direct living memory. So there's probably several generations between between Kikkuri and that lady.

But you are right about your implication, because originally - before the entire Kikkuri house purpose reveal - I always believed she was older and I think I mentioned it in a mangadex comment somewhere. She always speaks much more older than the other kids (until she's angry), and she knew how to smoke straight away.

Yeah the ending three panels give me big Nodoka-talking-to-the-reader energy. Poor fella.

I am going to need such a reread at the end to remember all the details of this one lmao

I'm sorry, if I didn't need write a gazillion dumb things ABOUT CHAMPION NOT KEEPING THEIR DAMN LETTERING CONSISTENT. I'd have put some flashbacks/points about things. I try too for big revelations on the magazine version.

praying for a speedy recovery for your fonts folder. I'm personally still mourning a set of blackletter bitmap typefaces I pirated somewhere in 2018. the attention to detail is paying out here for me bcs I have trouble remembering plotlines and names between releases so the visual consistency helps
