"Connecting People" was a Nokia slogan, but since Nokia is no more, it's probably okay for Hatsune Miku to use it.

Ackshually... it's only their mobile phone business that is no more. The corporation survived as a business manufacturing telecoms network equipment, it's just that they're now selling to the other side of the fence: instead of making mobile devices for end-users, they now make network equipment for telecoms operators. They also own Bell Labs.

But you're right, they don't use that slogan anymore, it might be fine for her to use it now.

When Nokia let go of the phones, the maps (navigation), and such, I started joking about it disappearing because when a company that previously sold to private consumers becomes only business-to-business, it fades away from the attention of the large audience. Nokia used to be very visible when it was still at the top or near the top of phones. It was sponsoring all kinds of events, buying product placement in movies, and ads were everywhere. Not so anymore because ISPs and phone carriers don't care about such things. It also hardly matters for private people which manufacturer made the antennas high up a cell tower, as long as their phones work reliably. There's a slim chance, these days, that you might see the Nokia name if you get a wireless 5G net connection for your home, if your ISP has chosen to distribute Nokia cellular modems to their customers, but that's about it.
