I'm not sure Confucius was big on democratic accountability...
One thing I've learned: If a solution starts with the words "if everyone" then it's no solution at all - because everyone isn't gonna.

The bolded sections in the extra pages usually offer further interpretations, rather than just a retelling of the verses' meanings.
I aim to connect them to our daily lives or provide additional background information, whichever is more relevant.
While it's true we can't rely on everyone, that shouldn't stop us from chipping in. Even if our actions seem insignificant now, they may matter in ways we can't foresee. Progress often comes from a million small, seemingly unrelated efforts that slowly shape a better future. When we choose to act, we don't just contribute. We also have the power to inspire others to do the same.
Change may not begin with everyone, but it can begin with someone.
