@Kaizeel this doesn't really apply to only Vtubers this also applies to most entertainment agencies that has contracts. Hell even streamers with contracts get this type of treatment this is why some would choose to go independent.

@Kaizeel Haato and Coco mentioned "Taiwan" in their streams when they were talking about their viewer statistics, Chinese viewers started a harassment campaign and at one point were even egged on by one of the HoloCN vtubers on their personal account. Now Hololive is pulling out of China after they failed to calm their shit.

I think it's more of HololiveCN situation where all the West Taiwan monkey made an ultimatum "fire Coco or leave West Taiwan" and of course they leave West Taiwan because of the hostility West Taiwan gives out
