Yeah, I think she was in a limbo version of her room. So when the police officer went there, he saw nothing and thought Messiah-chan was really some crazy cosplayer.
But we still don't know what happened to Crow-possessed demon in that dimension how our Merrin got possessed herself and why Messian-chan can still stream to our dimension.
