I disagree. This kind of format actually helped building up the tension. And the theorizing and analyzing have been the best part of the series. The scares aren't that extraordinary on itself, but because it's slowly built up that it ended being pretty great.

The ending is kinda weak, but hey, it's pretty common for serial releases to have weak ending. At least the journey's fun.

I wonder if there was meant to be a dark undertone to the ending. The cipher is posted on her account, which I assume Leviathan doesn't just have easy access to anymore. Furthermore, there is still the mystery of why her room is still connected to our world.

One could interpret it as Leviathan having actually retreated to her body again before she managed to escape.

tension only work if the twist or mystery actually neat. not blame author, since mystery is to me one of the hardest genre to make, frankly see very few writer actually do well.
This story basically reply on like 1 or 2 twist, and once there are a pause and i start to theoring wonder and expect it certain option, the reveal doesn't mater anymore. this sus crow is is the bad guy, or "he is telling the truth and she is the evil one all along isn't he", now it go either way, but there are no reward of knowing it anymore. That why this type story work better if i can read it in one go, short enough, so i just read all, don't have a break in between, and let it lead you to the mystery

I honestly believe Yohane is the one possessed now. And that's why she could still connect to our world. But maybe the demon was weak and that was the last time she could connect? Hope not since Messiah-chan gives hope to Crow-san. Not only as his favorite v-tubber but as someone he actually did save from the demon after losing his own daughter. Hopefully, Crow-san can find a job to keep supporting our girl.

Anyway, I loved this from start to end. I know Pageratta can be a bit of hit or miss but the works from the author are quite interesting anyway but this one is one of the better ones. But I can't even imagine the amount of work to conceive this title and implement the idea as well from the translator. Really thanks for bringing this to us. Not only this one but, again, for finishing My Sp/lit Little Sister.
It was a fun ride the last 50 days and I'm glad I found it right at the beginning.

Out of all the criticisms I could expect this is probably the weirdest one. You're essentially saying that no mystery manga can be serialized, it can only be a oneshot.

Most people enjoy that suspense, that hanging, it's part of the genre. You theorycraft and then wait to check your answers. Why would this be a oneshot, it's specifically made to create drama and suspense, especially given that in the original you could interact directly with the work's development, driving up engagement and anticipation.

You can say the twists were bad, the story was boring, or whatever, but saying this doesn't work well because it's not a oneshot is just weird. So many ARGs function in episodes like this, it's a staple.

This reads like someone whose attention span has been nuked by TikTok so unless they can enjoy all the answers in one sitting they're not satisfied. Then again you were the same guy that complained about me not releasing every chapter at once or in big chunks so I guess it's not that surprising to see you complaining about the same thing in the end.
