I just found out that this novel has a manga adaptation.
Ooh, the visual is really sweet! My eyes are fixed on that handsome guy B-Log does have character in this field, haha.
But, I also like the original visual. Not too cute-sy, more fluffy. The guy looks normal, too.
By the way, Kyoto is indeed a tourist center that must be visited. As Asian myself, traditional culture is indeed attractive. Dignity is the same, but western culture gives a different class significance. I hope you don't misunderstand, I mean it in a good way.
I haven't tried manga about confectionery shop for a long time, the last time I tried Fukuyado Honpo (highly recommended! the family drama is very very good.)
And Wagaya .... I can't say I can invest in the atmosphere, especially with mysterious conditions introduced.
