Maybe it's 前半 which is usually translated to First Part or First Half. What (former) mean in the title?
Oh, after seeing another chapter i can see that this is not the first time they use it, thank you for the informationMaybe it's 前半 which is usually translated to First Part or First Half.
The latter/second half is 後半
I recently bought the first two volumes of the official translation, so it's moderately fresh in my mind; I would say that at least hints of the exorcist drama already got set up within those, as well as a tiny bit about Shinonome having an odd backstory, so probably not 100% gag/slice-of-life only.I feel like the author (or editors?) decided midway through to change this into a JJK-like battle shonen. The earlier chapters didn't feel like setup for the current plot, the whole passive income thing simply felt like a silly gimmick in a gag manga (which I quite liked). I might be wrong tho, I do remember they made a big deal of MC not fearing ghost from early on. In any case I'd prefer if it went back to a laid-back slice of life.
There was a visible effect when he asked what their wishes were, which makes me think the question matters. Like you only get a Christmas wish if you ask what they want for Christmas.Thank you for the update. What if the "wish" is super short-termed, like wishing to have a really nice cozy nap right after a good lunch? I mean we have already seen that "wish" can mean christmas present.
