Okay reporting back after I've finished reading it, this was surprisingly better than I'd expected. I've never read anything with beasts as a love interest before, so I was weary going into it. But it wasn't terrible honestly. I mean, Travis did some terrible things but his species had nothing to do with it and it wasn't anything worse than what I've read in other BL before.
