The manga is much more intense than the Anime, the arcade has loss of translation in WMMT5 idk on the 6 and then it drags you around the story like a third wheel. Always hated that.

Thanks for the hard work translating. Will we be able to read WM in English in this timeline? Hope so.

Is there really 550 chapters in this manga?

I'm no expert, but I should hope you'll believe me when I say I skimmed all the volumes and counted all the chapters. Comparing it to another manga that I know of (with finished translations) may put it into a better perspective:
The World God Only Knows (Kaminomi) ran for:
- 6 years, 26 volumes, around 10-11 chapters each volume, resultant 268 chapters.
Wangan Midnight, in comparison, ran for:
- 18 years, 42 volumes, around 11-15 chapters each volume, resultant (give or take a few) 550 chapters.

I always thought it was around 400 chapters, thats like c1 runner is another 100 or so, and speed star is around 20, alltogether goes up to 660-670 chapters, wow, such a long series! Trully a rival to Initial D
