It is obvious she's at least partially in denial (that's what all the blushing expressions on the part where she thinks about how she was kissed are supposed to signify).

Kuro is obviously lying about Aya being a replacement for the woman who distanced herself from her. Aya is a replacement, and Kuro is so desperate for sex that she's not willing to entertain a relationship that doesn't have sex available as an option on the table almost immediately.

Then found a prostitute buddy, i'm sure you will found at your taste. All of the main characters of this is a mess of a person. Between the MC who have low self-esteem and is willing to do anything to keep the teacher as a "Friend" (friends don't sleep with each other btw), evenhaving sex with her and being a subsitute. The teacher who just seem a sexual predator who just want to lust about Highschool girl and don't seem to even care about the other person feelings (she forced herself on her ex and she also forced herself on MC). Last but not the least, the neighbor friend, who under the reason of "being worried" just want to monopolize MC's time and act like a possesive boyfriend who want to know where his GF goes and with who. None of themare likable in anyway. Mightforget the girl at the teacher's school but who care about discount Matsuri here.

I don't know... I find this slightly refreshing. Most of the Yuri I read tend to be Sugar Festas which, don't get me wrong, I still love but you can only stretch the same concept for so long and keep it entertaining. Shit like this, where it shows that human relationships are not always all fluffy and cute and oh so great, are what really shows the strengths of a writer.

Yeah, they can fuck it up, and most times they do, but hell, I'm willing to shift through the garbo jut to find those hidden jewels. Another one that captures the "Dark" side of love.

Also, yes, there is such a thing as a sex-friend. You may not approve of the concept, and think it's impossible, but having had one of those in the past I can attest, sexual attraction and romantic feelings do not have any reason to be intermingled.
