Not really since I found this one to be well deserved. As funny as the drugging tea was, it didn't amount to much besides the target getting flirty with Toudou. Don't get me wrong, some of the executions of it was hilarious, for example when she used it against Himari and Kurohime, or even during the cop and robbers game, and even the male teacher. But beyond that, I didn't really care much for it, since it was mostly a gag to get Toudou with a girl, even if momentarily. On the other hand, once we moved past the tea usage, we got to see Toudou actually interact with characters regardless if they're in her harem or not, and seeing all of it bear fruit during these moments. I honestly find these moments far more entertaining and interesting than the tea, or at least how it was mostly used.

So personally, If I had to choose between seeing Toudou drugging somone and adding them to her harem for a thousand times versus Toudou actually interacting and helping people in her own ways and maybe her own self-interest for a thousand times; I choose the latter in a heartbeat. Now if the Tea becomes relevant again, I'd prefer it'd be because Toudou wanting to find out who made it and/or there was someone else abusing it.

But Toudou is properly dating her sadist underclassman, former teammate!

You definitely aren't. Me personally, I'm just a fan of good balance. I wouldn't want to return to the beginning of the series where every chapter was just the same softcore hentai plot with different girls, but I also don't want it to stay as it is right now, which I imagine it won't after this (really long) arc ends.

More often than not I find, both extremes are bad. It's best to have a healthy amount of both, which is what the series was doing really well with before this arc (and maybe the dodgeball arc) started in my opinion.

I mean the dodgeball arc was super long, and it was hard to follow who was who. Same here with the upper class man and the innocent student council and the perpetrator student council. But, it’s still Toudou being manipulative for her own gain… but “her gain” includes the well-being and goal achievements of other friends now. She never had the opportunity to show her smarts in the beginning of the manga because the easy route was drugging people and having sebsian lex. But now she’s making connections with people she drugged - especially knowing they remember everything they did. Remember, originally she thought she could just get away with drugging but women still kept pursing her after the drug wore off. And she probably doesn’t want more women on her tail now that she’s dating Hanei Rin.

She literally just told Toudou in the previous chapter that she wasn't going to accept any "half-ass theories" regarding the situation. Then when Toudou goes above and beyond to prove her point, the president had the nerve to not only play it off, but act as though she's doing Toudou and the band a favor...

I'm so glad Toudou let her have it and knocked her down a peg.

Nah, I gave up remembering anyone in this manga volumes ago, I only remember maybe like a dozen amongst a couple hundreds introduced so far

Am I the only one who doesn’t like the generic “and everyone clapped” speeches? I miss when she would just a drug people with Tea.

I’ve seen this same scene 1000 times. Everything in the first half of this series was fresh and brand new. But the worst part, the most terrifying part, is people clearly like and want the same thing they have seen 1000 times before.

I disagree. I compared it to the raw and found it to be accurate. They were using directly rude language and yelling swears in japanese as well.

Likely we'll have to wait for it to end before we can have it back. And who knows how many more chapters we have to go...

I do enjoy these chapters at least, making Toudou show how much she actually cares about this, and how much she can stop being a selfish scumbag when she receives positive reinforcement (and instead becoming a relentless scumbag trying to do the right thing™️ for once). Showing her actually wanting to help others, instead of doing it by coincidence while trying her best to wriggle out of a predicament she brought upon herself (like with the competition arcs, or the tea incidents).

I'm betting my arm that we're getting a bunch of yuri after this ark
