the author really did good potraying this guy, like i really despise him, but still have somewhat redeeming quality atleast for now.

This chapter really brings home how misguided this guy is. It almost makes me feel sorry for him. Almost. He's still terrible despite his misguided upbringing and its consequences. Even the shred of humanity in him can't exonerate him from the way he lives.
