prolly some psych need for attention/someone good with money wouldn't be in debt usually (well depends on the circumstance but in his case it's clearly self inflicted but if anything other than reselling maki's drugs i'm surprised he wouldn't have forced her to do some sexual vids to make money anyways, tho idk how profitable that is versus brothel work unless 'amateur' work doesn't fall under the censorship laws so ppl would pay more for that versus JAV DVDs or whatever)
