@yumian Greedy? Timeless leaf is an amazing website where it translates many manhua. It translates a lot of manhua that I like too. I sincerely want to alert the person that it is already translated by someone so that they know that it is already translated and doesn’t waste the time of the person doing this project. I apologize if you don’t like the website but it isn’t right to call it greedy. The person spends lots of time, effort, and money trying to keep daily updates. If you don’t like them asking to donate money, too bad, many people donate to support the website. Please tell me what I did wrong and how it’s not kind.

@lucidrose Not really. Her translations are actually quite bad, and she likes to charge people while also sniping other people's projects. And since she likes sniping so much, why can't others do the same thing to her? Let this translator continue with the project, and you can go back to timeless leaf. I don't mind if translators ask to donate money, provided their translations are good and free like Mangasy (or any of the legal manhua app), but I will not donate to someone like her.

@yumian I see. Hearing someone say it from a different perspective made me think about it more. I don’t think her translations are bad, I can understand it perfectly and I am sorry if you can’t. Plus, she doesn’t charge people? Wonder where you heard it from? Is sniping really a bad thing too? I am not saying that the translations here should stop, and if you don’t understand the translations that timeless leaf makes, then I highly encourage the translations here to keep going. The site is completely free for me and I wonder if it is different for you and is causing a misunderstanding. I hope that out different opinions won’t cause a huge argument.

@lucidrose I guess you are new to her site since you have never heard of it. She began snipping other group's projects around the time she started charging reading on her site. Other groups tried to tell that it was wrong to snipe, but she didn't listen and acted like a victim to her readers. It was very annoying that I stopped visiting her site since then. I have read the translations made by hers and others, and I found that hers was rather bad. MTL bad. It's like she never bother to check for quality and was just more focused on translating them asap so that she can gained money quickly. I don't know if things have changed, but I will never come back to her site again. Besides, most of her projects back then have been licensed by legal manhua app.

What make me so angry just now was that you tried to direct the readers on this site to read on her site instead of here, thus taking away mangadex's potential readers. I have seen some projects here being abandoned because they lost their readers either because 1) the readers lost interest in the project or 2) others directed them to site like timeless leaf that has already translated it so they just read it there instead of here, so please, don't do that anymore. I've never even once directed mangadex readers to other site that have already translated certain projects far ahead from the ones on mangadex, because I find it disrespectful to the translators.

@yumian Sorry about that. I never meant for what you said to happen. All I wanted to say was that it is already translated on another site and that they don’t waste their precious translating time to translate something that was already translated. I highly encourage the manga dex translator here to keep doing this series if they think that her translations are bad. I hope that you can forgive me and forget everything that I’ve said before. I mean no disrespect whatsoever, and I hope that whoever has read my past comment will not leave the mangadex community.

@lucidrose thanks for the notice about the other translation. I love that site because the translations are up EARLY, maybe they are not grammatically correct but they feed the craving when you really get into a series and there are no alternatives to reading it.

The sniping argument is only raised by those who have a severe lack of maturity. None of these groups have any right to claim ownership on these translations, they are providing a service that the License owners aren't providing us directly. The bickering could draw the attention of copyright owners and take away the hobby of all us readers.

Don't like the practices of a scanlator? Move on down the road ^.^

@PsychoPisces Thanks for saying that! I personally think that the translations there are understandable, but some may not apparently. You're right, any one is free to make their own translations, because they woked and they spent time on it. Sniping is the groups decision. If they like doing it, then no one should prevent them because all the readers here are free to choose the one that they will read. Any group is free to scanlate any manga as long as 1. the author does not like it or 2. It is under copyright law so that it wouldn't mess with any issues. All in all, both groups are spending effort and time to let readers read their chapters, so don't blame me if both groups are still scanlating it as it is their own decision

I also find her translation decent. I've read a few of the series she translates and never had an issue understanding.

As far as her being greedy, I'm sure they money and their free time to bring the series to you. She's never charged directly but seeks donations.

Starts out okay but quickly becomes a sloppy mess. It feels like for every chapter you read you're missing three chapters. I'm hoping there is a novel this is a shitty adaption off rather than it just being straight up terrible.
