I was so deligthed to see this update, but I didn't realize it was going to be the end ;0; I thought this was going to be an ongoing anthology; I'll have to reread everything with just this story in mind.
But aghgg this is so gorgeous, the story and the art. I'm srill absolutely haunted every time they show the crowd scene; its so busy and detailed and desperate. You can look in the crowd and find an individual struggling to survive, and then a hundred others. God it's such a feat
I feel so sad for Anne, but that there's something that will continue her memory long past her departure ahhhhh thats lovely. That's maybe why i was hoping for an anthology, too- so she can meet more people and see how they live and live in turn.
Still, thank you so much for the translation!! I hope to see more from this artist some day. The details they put into this whole manga is just so incredible, and their unique character style is lovely as well.
