I liked the cringe comedy of this manga. I did hope the main character will develop and find some friends, but I have to say the recent chapters are boring. Just another yuri harem. I don't know, manga lost its identity and uniqueness.

On another note, repeating the same old can get boring. The author just started something different within the same manga.

I just miss the cringe comedy which made this manga hysterically fun and unique.

Now it's just another manga about girls. With no old humor of it.

Characters were more expressive and more emotional in older chapters. Remember comedy gold in the 14-16 chapter?
I looked through 16x-170 chapters, doesn't look they have anything like that anymore. I mean, powerful comedy and reaction. The main character feels lifeless and bland. All girls just chilling and stuff...

If the art projects the state of manga, I'd say the author became lazy. Seems like the story just goes with the flow, with no powerful impact, twists, and twirls.

Boring melancholy...

@villko05 it's almost as if the manga evolved together with Tomoko.
I love the slow burn of it all, exploring different characters and fleshing out the world surrounding her instead of 'haha wacky fun lololo cringe bro' every chapter

Does this manga have yuri undertones now??

I dropped this early on because I was not a fan of the cringe comedy. Does this turn into more wholesome comedy with yuri bait?? If yes, Is there a specific turning point or is it more of a gradual change?

@theseniorsenor yeah doesn’t have that much yuri bait though except for certain characters are kinda open with yuri stuff the rest are just friendship stuff.

Well best to read it from start to finish the many arcs that lead to the transition is really great and you’d miss that part if you just directly go to the change.

so refreshing to see a manga where the loser stays relatively the same, and finds friends that love her in all her weirdness. this manga is like emotional porn to me now

A fantastic 12 volume series. Yup a nice hefty yet brisk 12 volumes with a great ending too. Which it definitely did, end that is, at volume 12. Yup.

A lot of second hand embarrassment in the first 50chapters or so and then it gets lighter on that stuff and becomes really funny imo. Nice to see the progression. Very good series imo
