I don’t understand. Why did the MC easily reveal that they’re doing the backup couple thing to the other guy? I know they’re exchanging favors and information, but I thought—or was under the impression—that it was a secret he’d never reveal to anyone.

I’m guessing that’s his close friend whom he can trust or something.
