Tbh i kinda see how his daughter came to hate her dad, and his wife to clearly not give much of a shit

On one hand yes adolescence, but as he said, both of the parents got complacent and just let life happen to them, for the worse
And personally i don't think it's really a moral failure in itself but he clearly thinks otherwise

As expected, for Shiina to resort to doing that when it's so inherently frowned upon come from her never quite having found the tracks, and having made the mistake of sexualizing herself online and it becoming viral in the way it did is a heavy blow

The wish to cash in early through her body is sad although it has some logic, but the part about doing that only because she only knows that as worth for herself and see her expiration date as the end where she should just go and die alone is just tragic

His daughter is the one bullying the 15 year old at school. She is far from a saint, and before this all happened we are given no context as to why she hates him besides puberty.
