For a moment I thought they'd cut renako's beating from the LN short... We're about to see Kaho-chan's true powers! Also love how the last panel is exactly the same as the LN one. Great stuff, I love this Manga adaptation.

Honestly, this manga would've been pretty much peak if Renako never retracted her acceptance to Ajisai's confession.
Don't understand how Mai is even considered a choice in the present...

Ajisai is a kind-hearted girl and not a bad match for Renako but she's easily the least interesting character in this whole manga. I don't really have a deep stake in the shipping wars for this series but I find the chapters that focus exclusively on her boring. Which is why this chapter was so refreshing after spending the past year in the Ajisai arc. The comedy of the earlier chapters has returned.

I take back most of what I said last chapter about the awkward plotting, Kaho arc is my favorite so far. As soon as she threatened to beat Renako to death with a rock I was sold.

To my knowledge as someone who has not read the source material so far she has not done another thing worthy of the SV tag since the actions that led to the tag being added.
To make sure, because Im actually checking the most recent comments for people opinions (I'm actually reading around chapter 20 or so), the tag was added when Mai tried to get touchy with Renako telling her to stop, until Renako pushed her away because her sister was in the house. Right?
Or has there been any other huge event to deserve the tag since then?

That's the one that springs to mind, yeah.

The anime is so good it has proselytized me! Polycule ending is the way and light! :bocchiwave:

This could be such a fun story under the context this is a harem and they all would be with renako in the end, the issue I have is Mai is so everywhere she feels like the endgame and we're doing that thing where while harem of girls coincidentally only one of them gets all the screen time, only one of them gets the elusive f a v o r i t i s m
It doesn't help that I swear Mai still sees this as a competition she's won by default

I don't think I have any problems with renakos character anymore, were finally going somewhere let's GOOOOOOO

...was she about to actually beat her with the rock? She looked real serious for something played off in a comedic tone, probably cause of how serious it'd be if the time was serious
Come to think of it she jumped to the worst case scenario immediately, hm... Violence-chan? She's she got some issues I see though a drastic transformation from mid to cheery and the slip up where she basically admits it's all a facade I wonder if it's similar to renako where she wants to get close to people and wants friends

I know the real shocker is that this is such a difficult decision, one is everything right with this story the other commits sexual assault when every she's horny with no repercussions... also the fact two girls like the same girl so passionately I guess

Have a nice day
