It did kinda feel like they jammed a lot of novel into this chapter tho, which makes me worried the Kaho arc is gonna be shortened in the manga like the Satsuki arc was. Like, they shortened Renako's tragic reunion with her lover so much!

What about it is unreasonable, though? In Renako's eyes, she has to choose one over the other, but she also wants to be considerate of them both, which is why she doesn't want to hurt their feelings. She hasn't even considered being poly yet because it probably hasn't registered in her mind as a possibility; after all, it's not like it's the norm.
