I’m sorry but these 2 characters feel so pointless, what is their purpose in this story? Do we really need to have chapters dedicated solely to them 😒

They're just more token lolis for more merchandise, they really have function besides that. Still, I'm glad someone else agrees on that with me. It was specially painful in the anime with how it swapped things around to make them appear more and more relevant, and even then they felt utterly unnatural.
Honestly, since they first appeared they felt super tacked on and pointless and have no chemistry with the rest of the cast at all. And Koyori is utterly and completely obnoxious with not a single good thing about her.

It's good to see this manga continue. I watched the Anime to the end, and wanted more, and thankfully, here it is. I hope they continue the anime when the manga gets enough material.

The Kanon/Kayori dynamic is interesting and it's a good change of the manga classic dynamic with Myako. The anime have put much Kanon/Kayori but honeslty i don't mind because this pairing was quite sympathic between the all clumsy Kayori and the relatable Kanon.

@Midoriha Exactly. Ever since I saw these characters I’ve always felt that their relevance to the story felt so nonexistent. Compared to literally every other character in this story, they’re just not interesting or funny at all.

I’m just really upset because we gotta wait a month for a chapter and when it drops, it’s a chapter solely about the 2 most boring characters doing boring things.

We call that side characters and it's good in a while do had some side stories, excuse me but the main characters shenanigans can be pretty obnoxious at long like Noah and this cuteness or Hana just eating or just Hinata being herself.

@Urappy What story ? It's a SoL 4koma, there is no story beside Myako getting over her shyness and we don't really made progress on this point since what ? The cultural event. If we go on this road Noah too don't bring anything to the story, she's just kinda there.

Noah acts as the straight man and voice of reason in a lot of situations, and her dynamic with Hinata is interesting considering Hinata's own obsession with Mya-nee.

These 2 hardly even interact with the rest of the characters, and they feel like walking stereotypes a lot of the time.

Like i said they are side characters, it's normal they interact so little with the main cast. Hinata is a huge airhead doubled of a big siscon, i hardly think she will notice Noah's feelings. I don't understand why people get mad at a little chapter with side character, it's good once in a while and i personnaly love their dynamic more than the one sided Noah/Hinata .

Yeah @AsuraRaza I came to realize about a few weeks ago that Mangadex is kind of a cesspool. It's maybe a 4:7 ratio of decency:toxicity around here.

@knight_evangel - it's quite selective though - sometimes there are good discussions, sometimes there is such amount of overwhelming praise that it's almost scary (e.g. Komi), and then there are the mangas - even good ones - where the comments seem to have been taken over by the naysayers, so much so that I wonder why they keep bothering to read the manga. I can only assume that complaining has become their favourite pastime.

@AsuraRasa Shouko puts people in a good mood, haha. Only time seen anything close to a complaint was the gyaru, and by a single chapter the author made everyone love her. Based.


I knew of a manga once...way back when called Kimi no Iru Machi. Unfortunately I was part of the readership for a short while. The community was literally up in arms every week at some point and I was part of it. Sooner or later I just had to stop reading. It was clear to me that either the author was trolling or I was trolling myself. The ability to stop reading something even though there are things I like(d?) about it is something I feel blessed to have, clearly not everyone has it.
