Can someone remind me who is Akane? My memory is already bad, and each new chapter taking at least 2 months doesn't help either.

Akane was Kaede's girlfriend in high school. They were in a co-dependent relationship, until Akane realized it wasn't healthy and dumped her. Cf chapter 10.
