Yeah, you can definitely notice a few issues.

• Kaede called Chiaki “Mr. Yasumi” even though they’re twins (I’m sure it’s just “Yasumi-San”, but there are times when you can drop the honorific if the result makes them act like strangers)
• “They’re floating!” not sure if this should be something like “They’re poking out!“

It’s servicable, sure, but if you had to pay for this sort of translation people would be up in arms about it

That said, is it technically still incest considering both of them had their DNA fiddled with via the mad scientist older sister? I'm not making an argument for or against it as an act. Just wondering if it would technically fall into the same category genetically. Not morally.

There is no indication the older sister made them unrelated genetically.

Again, I'm not defending it or saying it's great. The whole incest angle is the whole reason I even dropped The Irregular at Magic High School. This was more a generalized question out of curiosity.

Read Greek mythology and stop embarrassing yourself. Or literally any history vis-a-vis European nobles. Even if incest isn't a good thing, don't pretend history isn't chock full of it.

Taboos don't apply to fictional characters anyway. That's what makes them interesting stories, the exploration of the taboo. If you can't handle interesting stories, go back to the kiddie pool quietly instead of demanding the grown-ups all sit in ankle-high water with you.
