thanks for picking it up. i wonder how much research was done/if the author has personal experience b/c i can imagine while 'tortured artist' is a stereotype, i can imagine a lot of artists not admitting to have a mental health condition on stage
hope she can get therapy/meds and no one's forcing her to do art
(I wonder if those are intrusive thoughts or she's just repeating the words she's heard ppl say to her)
Remember this manga have supervision by
Iwanami Akira, that "serves as a professor of psychiatry at Showa University School of Medicine and the director of Showa University Karasuyama Hospital. His main research interests have been psychophysiological studies of psychiatric disorders and clinical studies of adult developmental disorders. With regard to developmental disorders in adulthood, he has been engaged in research on the similarities and differences between ASD and ADHD, research on theory of mind, and research on pharmacotherapy for ADHD." (from
here)
And he have a huge contributions in this area like mentioned in ResearchGate (
link here)
Because this, i wanted a lot read this manga
And this mangaka is a illustrator for "Turning the Tables on the Seatmate Killer!", is a very different work from here lol
