Sure it wont work because of Haruka's body but tbf that was a smart tatic by the wolf monster, normally going for a mage's arm like that. A normal mage would be in too much pain to shoot any spell off.
pretty sure that wolves and even dogs are smart enough to go for the jugular... so sorry, no. it was quite dumb to not go for a vital/bigger bite.

If we look at the whole situation: She evaded already multiple times and her arm is stretched out towards the monster, so of course it’s going for the easiest target available after constant failure.

Even if she evaded again, in this position the monster wolf could lunge forward and bite in a horizontal way with turning its head. No need to stop. Position or tactical wise she is putting herself on a silver platter, with basically close to no evasion potential.

Of course non of that really matters, since the artist didn’t think that far. The monsters attacks have been drawn like it’s very unenthusiastic about attacking them in a serious killing intent manner.

I have no idea what's going on in these adventurer's minds. There's no good coordination of the roles and despite being surrounded, they've left their mages all alone with no melee support. Worse, the reaction to the boss wolf attacking them is that they'll have to deal with it themselves? Those kid mages are lucky Haruka is there.

Let's hope Haruka's body strengthening can deal with the wolf. I wonder if she's suffered any damage from that attack and if she did if she has learned any healing magic. I also wonder if her body strengthening is strong enough to overpower the wolf; she might panic and try to swing her arm around to free herself and it would be quite funny seeing her swing that huge wolf around and maybe knock it out against a tree or the ground. Or she'll just fire a spell in its mouth.

The twins know that her magic is just "go magic power go!", since she actually never learned to do magic.
She did learn the spells; she even chanted the same spell as they did for the wind blade. It's just that between the number of wind blades she can fire at once (multi-cast; Totto absolutely shit his pants when he saw her doing a 4 spell multi-cast as a 3 spell multi-cast is already seen as monstrous by an adventurer's standard; I think the adventurer standard for a mage is that they're ranged like archers, slower to cast their spells than an archer can fire an arrow, but pack far more firepower in their spells) and the total quantity of wind blades, she's an absurdly powerful mage. They're graduating despite their young ages as they're prodigies themselves so seeing someone like Haruka is a big blow to their egos. Basically they're sulking because they've realised she's babysitting them.

Haruka might have set some really unreasonable expectations of what a mage can do for the twins though; who knows if 5 spell multi-cast will ever even be achievable for them. After this, I expect they'll be trying to ask her a lot about magic. Who knows, they might become the greatest humankind has seen in ages thanks to their interaction with Haruka.
