Essentially, Kuzu identifies which rocks have soul fragments and breaks them into more manageable peaces and like a fossil, yuu has to chisel away all the rock until she's left w just the soul intact, if she chisels the wrong way the soul vanishes(i think)

all this while yuu thinks ajisai and kuzu are lovers(or something) and it's kind of unconsciously jelous of that
