I'm response exactly, unfortunately this chapter confirms my ship won't happen as the sea monster actually wants to protect hinako somewhat, a very unfortunate day indeed, I still hold hope though

Have a nice day

I understand why Hinako feels so hurt due to this reveal and yeah, she definitely need therapy to take care of her feeling (when think about this, why none of the story ever using therapy? even in the The Summer You Were There, Shizuku's parents never sent her to therapy but just bought her a dog?). but if you think with clear head, Hinako should be glad that Shiori gave her blood and survived the accident. because living is much better than died, and I'm sure her parents also wants her to keep living instead following them to afterlife. I'm sure eventually Hinako will accept this after sorting her feeling tho......also as bonus point, Shiori keep protecting Hinako too.

My prediction was right, Hinako was planning all along the yuri between Shiori and Miko. But I mean, I didnt know Hinako was that much of a yuri fan.

I would say seeing therapy is not a common option in Asian country. We are taught to be resilient with mental pain and most people will think you are weakling or mentally ill like crazy and disability if you see them. You and your family will be shamed from society and people will whisper behind your back. Well, that is why mental bullying and suicide are high in Asian though.

Because, surprise surprise, therapy isn't a common thing in Asia.
I know this is a difficult to comprehend thing for the non-Asian mind that is used to freely booking a session with any of the various psychiatrists in town with little reluctance, but in Asia therapists are few and far between, and even fewer people actually know that relying on them for mental burdens is an option that exists. Normally you'd either trudge on and eventually emerge alive but massively scarred, or commit suicide along the way. You can't really visit therapy when you don't know such an option exists, or have never seen a precedent of someone you know using it.
