@tanate i like yuri as long it's not overly sexualized (mostly fluff/coming of age story) same with yaoi. I avoid yuri/yaoi that made for ppl to jerk off bc i rather read hentai. Yaoi usually have rapey male lead so i understand if you get creeped out by those.

@tanate as a girl, i love yuri! A lot of us actually like it (if you read webtoons like beware of the villainess, we are rooting for yuri ships) but lot of them are overly sexual and kinda loli too ? so it's creppy in those cases
As ch0si said, if you read yaoi with rapey stories / weirdass fetishes you won't like it....If you are interested, Given is a super nice story (i remember a guy who didn't really enjoy BL watched it bc there is a band and ended up loving it!)

Most Yuri I've read in early days never had substance. It was always "hey look 2 girls kissing!!!" And it just took advantage of the inherit unconditional love humans have for women.

Most are dumb and only there for eye candy. So I've come to hate that genre.

Lots of yaoi is rapey that's why I rather read shounen ai.

I find shounen ai better than shoujo ai. Handles things better, but its also more taboo. Meaning more conflict within the story.

Because lesbians isn't really a condemned thing in society while being a gay man gives you weird looks...

Can we call this a manga in the classic sense? There is literally no story. We've got not enough background story and as for the mainstory....there is none. No progression. So she goes to the same school as the guy. And? Nothing happened. Was this here an omake chapter? Why is he her maid to start with? I know mangas, which start in the flow of events, directly in the story and the background unfolds slowly. But the point is: There is a story. There arn't even other character introduced so far.

This just looks like a mockup design for a story idea and that's it. It could be cute and fun to read (so far it's nice, I guess), but is it even a finished product? Or will I be left hanging in 3 chapters, as that's all there is to it? Is it a worthwhile investment of my time and memory? I'm willing to read it and I'm also prepared to wait for some story progression, but only if this turns out to be into a real story.

Here in America, the western audience at least, thinks that way.

By close I mean being buddy buddy on your Bros. But mostly I'm talking about crossdressing.

When a guy crossdresses he's automatically assumed to be gay. When most the time majority are actually just straight but like to dress up cutely.

Personally, i think no one have power over your own sexuality. No matter how wrong ppl assumption about you, in the end, the only one that know you better is yourself.

Where i come from, it's normal for guy to be close to each other as long they're respect each other personal space. It's weird to know that ppl i US are more narrow minded when there are so many LGBT activist and organisation there.
