Yay more of this tbh kinda felt a bit elongated and like it didn't need that much emphasis about being bait or caught or so, but oh well. I don't remember what he suspected in vol 2 or whatever at this point and what he was worrying about with passing out and how it scares him more than death.
also also, the "if evil why hot" type of people are indeed shallow and dumb, yes lol.

I'm going with he was either the Jyuu of the previous Queen, or the child she had with her Jyuu.
It's probably don't fuck your boss, and definitely don't have a kid with them.
This is so confusing, unsure if it is the tl or the author's fault.
Like they keep on name-dropping ppl, expecting me to remember who is who for more than 2 pages after they last gave a reference to identify the name. As for 'mr burkes' they never even gave any reference at all, my best guess is that he talked to someone (black haired boy) in third person constantly, but that makes little sense. And then there's the "sill" guy?
Aside from that, some bubbles parsed somewhat awkwardly, feeling like they don't quite fit together. Could simply be because I don't remember any details of 'intrigue' beyond 'mc and her shuu and masked guy assault a forbidden room with 2 factions fighting to kidnap black haired dude or kill on failure.', due to slow release frequency. Or it could be because the bubbles actually read awkwardly. We'll never know~ (unless someone were to go and reread everything so they remember more than last chapter)
