at least I choose to believe that Miko's intentions to protect Hinako is true and genuine, because if she wants to, she could very easily kill/devoured Hinako since long time ago, even when she was a little kid. yet, Miko choose to keep protect Hinako, even when Hinako's scent become too unbearable so Miko should going away for a time. so even though Miko deceive Hinako by using magic, I'm not detecting any bad intentions, unlike Shiori, who being straightforward that she will eat Hinako someday later.
although I wonder, where is the "shoujo-ai" components? even after I read until chapter 10, I still not found anything close to that. both Miko and Shiori only see Hinako as object to protect, not object of affections......
