after reading the story so far and reading people comments here, I kinda realized there is a twist behind Shiori's act words and reasoning. also I just realized why this manga's tag is "shoujo-ai" despite nothing bluntly resembling anything like affections between girls. so the reason why Shiori saved Hinako from car accident back then because Shiori actually loves Hinako? and all the claims that Shiori wants to keep Hinako grown up before eating her is just lies so Hinako won't ever thinking to be died again? well, this become interesting indeed.......

Okay so Shiori IS a tsundere and was pretending. And she is like Miko, but was probably not approving of Miko's methods, instead using mindgames and force to make Hinako be happier. I suppose she could have been lurking in the background before, watching over Hinako and Miko, but I'm not sure. Satisfactory. And yeah next conflict is probably something similar to what the commenter above me said.
