this manga is so gorgeous . ik the lineart is simple but theres SO much of it building up this world and every bit of it easy to look at and understand the setting. the screen tones are all etched away at the bits where there is more light in what I'm guessing took forEVER to complete and the images it creates are unique Nd haunting. especially here where generally theres just one character at least for the first few pages. just had to gush for a second as its inktober and I am an artist myself wishing to create similar work with ink wash.

XD That dragon ball reference truly threw me I'm cracking up. I never thought about it like that but I guess dragons are always holding orbs in ancient eastern art. now I've gotta see if akira toriyama ever recreated a rendition of that??.... augh. he's got too much work to comb thru just for that. I am curious though haha still laughing
