As a country boy, this story always hits especially hard. I wonder sometimes, if there'll be a day the house I grew up in vanishes into the woods... well. Maybe. Maybe not.

But I'll still be able to trace my steps up that gravel road.

This remains up there with YKK for perfect 物の哀れ stories. Glad to see a new work from Urushibara Yuki after all these years as well.
